Blue Spruce Chapter came
into being, through the dedicated effort of our beloved State Regent, Mrs.
Warden Lee Braerton, whose daughter, Emily Louise Braerton Peters, was
confirmed on June 7, 1951 by the National Board of Management to be our
Organizing Regent. The Chapter was originally organized to meet in
the evening for the convenience of young mothers and working women, however, we
now alternate between luncheon meetings and morning meetings. Our
current schedule is described in detail below. Blue Spruce Chapter was named for the Blue Spruce tree which grows naturally in a limited area of the mountainous regions surrounding us. It is considered a native species of Colorado, and is the official state tree of Colorado. Chapter meetings alternate between the second Wednesday and the second Saturday of every month. Wednesdays we meet at 11:30 for lunch, and Saturdays we meet at 9:30 for breakfast/brunch. Please contact us for meeting locations. Meetings scheduled for this year include:

Any woman is eligible

Independence, served as a sailor, or a soldier or civil officer in one of
the several colonies or states, or in the United Colonies or states or as
